Kanika Khara
In a candida diet or yeast infection diet, the affected person eliminates the consumption of food on which yeast thrives upon. The yeast or candida mainly flourish on all types of sugar and carbohydrate-rich food. This story provides some breakfast options available for those following the candida diet.
The candida diet ensures that the levels of systemic candida are significantly reduced in the body. This can only be done by controlling the intake of the foods that are rich in carbohydrates, fats, and sugar. By following this diet, the affected person will not only limit candida levels in the body but will also increase his energy levels.
This is because the body's immune system functions properly and allows the body to heal itself. In fact, one will observe lots of changes in his/her body: lose weight, clear skin, etc.
Candida diet helps in removing joints and back pain, controls cholesterol, balances blood pressure and sugar levels in the blood, and also helps relieve symptoms of depression without any medication.
This diet mainly comprises foods that will starve the fungus and gradually cause its death. Initially, one will experience flu-like symptoms due to the toxins released by the fungi in the body.
Hence, it is advisable to have plenty of raw and fresh vegetables during the diet course, as these vegetables absorb fungal toxins and help in carrying them out of the body. While following this diet, one should make sure that his/her blood sugar is at an acceptable level.
If one feels dizzy or gets frequent headaches, he/she can add a mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack in his/her diet. All these symptoms are normal and part of the detoxification process.
