What Does Bowen Therapy Involve?

Patients are asked to lie down on a bed. They undergo about 45 minutes of therapy with short breaks in between, allowing the body absorption of pressure point therapy. At the end of the treatment, they will enjoy improved posture, a freshened complexion and tension relief.

Bowen Therapy is Professionally Controlled

The Bowen Association of South Africa was established in 1998 and is the controlling watchdog of the Bowen Therapy movement. Practitioners are required to uphold a strict code of conduct. Bowen Therapy is available in the Eastern and Western Cape, Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Namibia and North West province.

How Many Sessions Needed?

Patients opting for Bowen Therapy generally need five sessions to heal their ailments.
