The organism that brings on this infection is the trichophyton rubrum leading up to what people most commonly experience - athlete's foot.

Symptoms:

• Here too, the nails turn to colors of green, white, or yellow and in some cases a mixing of all three colors.
• The tips of the nails are mostly infected, where the fungus appears between the space of the nail tip and toe.
• Nails turn round and thick textured.

• Between the nail palate and the nail bed, dry and dead matter build up.
• The nail palate later starts to move away from the skin beneath it.
• Only some rare cases involve the feeling of pain.
• Uneven nail top.

This foot fungus type of infection is also common among the masses, although this type of infection is fairly easy to cure. The organism that triggers this infection, is called trichophyton mentagrophytes. Symptoms:

• White spots signal the start of the infection, where a powdery crust takes form over the nail top.
