Consumption of food containing virus, i.e. food poisoning, can cause virus infection in adults. The most commonly observed symptoms in adults are vomiting, diarrhea, stomach ache, constipation, and indigestion. Other symptoms like fever, sore throat, cough, and common cold are also observed. Viral infection also causes the weakening of the immune system and the person tends to lack energy. Complete body ache will also be experienced by the affected person.
