One important vitamin is B6, also known as pyridoxine, which is also one of the eight water soluble vitamins.
It remains as a co-enzyme in the body and is involved in the metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates, the production of insulin, red, and white blood cells, and ensuring a healthy nervous and immune system. Further, it is important for maintaining the regular body temperature and healthy nerve and muscle cells.
It also helps in the production of DNA and RNA. Now with so many advantages, it's very obvious that vitamin B6 deficiency is not good for the body.
Vitamin B6 deficiency occurs when this vitamin gets absorbed in the body by an illness, drugs, or when the body is facing an unusually quick metabolism.
